Anyone can signup for a Poll Authority account! Polls are customizable and exclusive to your personal account, so the sky's the limit on the kind of polls you create.

Can any website display the polls?

Our polls will work with any page that can embed a single line of Javascript. This includes .HTML, .ASPX, .ASP, .PHP, .JSP, blogs, social networking pages, and more! The polls are also FireFox, Opera, Safari and IE compatible.

How much does it cost to use the Poll Authority service?

Poll Authority offers three similar yet distinct plans:

• Bronze Plan - no monthly fees (yep, it's FREE!)
• Silver Plan - only $4.95 per month
• Gold Plan - only $7.95 per month

How does the Bronze (FREE) account differ from the paid accounts?

Bronze accounts are identical to paid accounts, with a few exceptions. When you create a poll under the Bronze (FREE) account you cannot edit the footer text. When you add your poll to your website or blog, the footer text will contain a linkback to Poll Authority. Paid accounts do not have the linkback.

Do I need to know HTML to add a poll to my site?

No, not at all. The only thing you need to know is how to copy and paste a single line of Javascript into your webpage. Now, the positioning of the poll may require you to understand your basic table or div layouts, but otherwise no HTML knowledge is required on your part. It's a simple copy-paste.

I've joined Poll Authority. When can I start creating polls?

Right now... literally this very second! Go and login to your account, click the "My Polls" link and then "Create new poll". We don't make you wait on an approval process before you can dive in and start building your polls. Go in and have fun!

I have a paid account. Will Poll Authority ever increase my monthly fee?

Absolutely not! When you sign up for an account you lock in your monthly rate for the LIFE of your membership! If rates ever go up int the future, you'll still pay the same low monthly rate that your agreed upon on the day you signed up. *

Can I cancel my account at any time?

You are under no obligation and can cancel your paid membership at ANY time! If you are a Bronze member, simply send an email to our support staff with "Account Cancellation" in the subject line. Silver and Gold members may cancel their accounts through PayPal. Please note that when you cancel your Silver or Gold account all active polls will revert to the Bronze account level.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards through PayPal. Please visit the PayPal website if you do not already have an account. PayPal has been an established and trusted leader of internet payments for years and is the preferred form of payment for websites such as EBay.

How often will I be billed?

All billing occurs through Paypal and will recur once a month from the day you signed up for an account. For example, if you signed up for an account on the 12th of January your monthly billing period will be the 12th of each following month.
